Senator Lieberman Honored with School Choice Champion Award
U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn), long a supporter of school choice, received the “School Choice Champion” award on June 10, 2010. He was presented with the award by DC Opportunity Scholarship recipient Francois William. “We are not going to give up,” Senator Lieberman said. “We are going to find a way” to continue this program.

Rallying for School Choice in NJ
This week, New Jersey Democratic State Senator Ray Lesniak stood up to special interest groups who blocked children from watching a legislative committee hearing on school choice. He moved the hearing outside to the site of the state’s largest-ever school choice rally.
